			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>	If you haven&#39;t yet heard this phrase, <strong>information overload</strong>, you will soon &#45; because it happens to the majority of new Internet marketers at some time or another.  Information overload is when you simply have too much to learn &#45; so much that you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and more confused than before you had help.</p>
<p>	It happens easily with this industry because there are so many options you have &#45; an endless array of opportunity.  You can be a product owner and an affiliate at the same time.  </p>
<p>You can use article marketing, social marketing, or pay per click campaigns.  You&#39;re new, you may not know much about any of the above, and suddenly you&#39;re thrust into an environment where everyone&#39;s opinions differ and you don&#39;t know where to start!</p>
<p>The first thing to do is calm down and take some of the pressure off of yourself. All of this information you need to digest isn&#39;t going anywhere.  It&#39;s going to be here tonight, next week, and a year from now.</p>
<p>Don&#39;t invest in a guide about Google AdWords, another about Squidoo, and one about Private Label Rights all at the same time.  There&#39;s an old saying, &#8220;How do you eat an elephant?&#8221; Answer: One bite at a time.</p>
<p>Internet marketing is your elephant and you have to choose whether you want to eat the ear, the foot, or the tail section first. It doesn&#39;t matter if you start out learning about social marketing before you know the ropes of article marketing.</p>
<p>The point is that you&#39;re educating yourself and putting that knowledge to work for you.  As long as you read the social marketing guide and apply that insight to a method of making money, you&#39;re on the road to success!</p>
<p>Some things won&#39;t make sense to learn before others. If you know you have no money to start with, then don&#39;t buy (or even download for free) a guide about pay per click marketing.  Start with something you can do.</p>
<p>You don&#39;t want a guide to everything all at once. You want to invest in small, bite-sized chunks of information that you can digest and utilize before moving on. Want to start with a free blog? Get a blog guide. Launch a blog. </p>
<p>Then move on to whatever interests you next, such as <strong>product creation</strong> or selling on <strong>eBay </strong>&#45; whatever floats your boat.  The key is to not get stymied by having too much information and too many choices at once. </p>

<p>A <strong>squeeze page</strong> is a web page that&#39;s used for the purpose of getting people to opt in to your newsletter or mailing list by entering their name and email address.  A squeeze page generally doesn&#39;t have as much copy as a sales letter, but most squeeze pages have some teaser text and bullet points. </p>
<p>Increasingly, video is being used in place of text on squeeze pages.  Most text-based squeeze pages consist of a headline, a short paragraph or two of copy, a few bullet points, and an opt-in box &#45; all &#8220;above the fold,&#8221; meaning the reader doesn&#39;t have to scroll to continue reading.  </p>
<h3> What Tools To Create a Squeeze Page</h3>
<p>Some squeeze pages will also have graphics, including a header and footer, and perhaps other graphics such as an eCover for a free report that&#39;s being given away as a reward for opting in.<br />
First, you need to create a basic HTML page.  </p>
<p>You can do this using a WYSIWYG editor, which should make it easier for beginners.  WYSIWYG stands for &#8220;what you see is what you get.&#8221;  A WYSIWIG HTML editor lets you design visually, and you generally need to know little, if any, HTML to use one.</p>
<h3>Squeeze Page Color Schemes and Setup</h3>
<p>Many people use a darker red or a medium blue as the background color for their squeeze page, but you can use any color you like, as long as it isn&#39;t incredibly bright and distracting and it looks good with any other graphics you might use on the page.</p>
<p>You don&#39;t want to put your text directly on this colored background, because it will probably be difficult to read.  What you want to do is create a table with a white background, and put all of your text and graphics inside the table.  </p>
<p>In your program, create a table with a single cell (1&#215;1) and set the background color to white.  This table should probably be between 700 and 800 pixels in width.  Most people use between 750 and 770 pixels, because it&#39;s large enough to look good on monitors with very high resolutions, yet it still shows up well even at 800 x 600.</p>
<p>Inside this table, you&#39;ll want to put the rest of your squeeze page information.  This should include a headline, a little copy, bullet point or a video, and your opt-in box (you&#39;ll get the code for this from your autoresponder).  </p>
<h3>Graphics</h3>
<p>You can also put the eCover of the product you&#39;ll be giving away to subscribers, if you have one. Your headline should be something that will tease visitors and make them really want to sign up to get the information you have.  </p>
<h3>Headlines</h3>
<p>If you&#39;re giving away a 10-page report on the hidden dangers in pet food, your headline might read, &#8220;Did you know the food you give your beloved pet could kill him?  Read this shocking FREE report about dangerous additives in pet food that could cause your four-legged friend to suffer a slow, agonizing death!&#8221;  </p>
<h3>Copy to get the Sign Up</h3>
<p>Next, you need to include some very short teaser copy.  Just put in a paragraph or two of text or bullet points that describe the product you&#39;re giving away for free. If you&#39;re using Aweber, you&#39;ll create a list, and then get the code from your admin area.  </p>
<p>You&#39;ll need to paste the form into the HTML area.  Then you&#39;re finished with your squeeze page!  Just save the file, upload it and test it, then start sending traffic to it!  You can use this landing page for an AdWords campaign, too &#45; which is beneficial if your business involves a lot of affiliate marketing. </p>

<p>YouTube is one of the most visited websites in the world, and other video sharing sites are growing in popularity, too &#45; including niche specific sites, like those for Internet marketing. As a result of the gain in popularity of <strong>video sharing sites</strong>, more marketers are turning to video as a way to promote their products and services.  </p>
<h2>What to Promote on Video</h2>
<p>Almost any type of product or service can be promoted through video, but it&#39;s important to do it properly.  People generally don&#39;t visit video sites to view commercials.  There might be exceptions for people who want to watch classic commercials, funny commercials, or extremely popular commercials.  </p>

<p>We are going to discuss one of the most important techniques for getting the <strong>lowest CPC </strong>that you can. If you get nothing else out of this whole series but this one thing, you will be miles ahead of the game as compared to a lot of people who are using Google Adwords.</p>
<p>The way you get your CPC lowered is to get <strong>ads that perform well</strong>. In other words, an ad that gets 10 clicks for 100 impressions is going to have a lower CPC than an ad that only gets 1 click for 100 impressions. Why? Well, it seems that Google likes to reword ads that perform well. They feel that if an ad is getting many clicks that it must be a highly relevant ad. Relevant ads get lower costs. So, the question is, how do we use this knowledge to our benefit?</p>
<h2>Ad Split Testing</h2>
<p>The simple way is to do what we call <strong>split testing</strong>. This is where you write 2 different ads for the same product and rotate them. Over time, one of the ads is going to outperform the other. When this happens, the ad that is doing better is going to have a lower CPC. However, the ad that isn&#39;t doing as well might actually end up with a higher CPC.</p>
<p>Kill the ad that isn&#39;t performing well. Replace the non performing ad with the well performing ad and make changes you think will increase CPC. Run both the original and the enchanced one as before to do a split test. If the new ad does better than the old ad, kill the old ad. Rinse and repeat until you reach the CPC that you are looking for. Eventually you will reach a point where both ads are performing exactly the same.  When this happens, you can either let both ads run or kill one of them.</p>
<p><em>This requires a daily watch over your ads</em>. It&#39;s a lot of work, but if you keep after it, the results will be more than worth the effort.</p>
<h2>How Long to Split Test Ads</h2>
<p>Now, how long do you want to do this testing for? I would do this for <strong>at least 50 clicks</strong>. At 10 cents per click you&#39;re only talking about spending $5. Even on a tight budget, this shouldn&#39;t break you. It&#39;s basically a day of running your ads on a $5 a day budget.</p>
<p><strong>Split testing </strong>is something that you absolutely have to do if you&#39;re going to have any success with your <strong>Adwords campaign</strong>.</p>
<h2>Landing Page and Adwords Headline</h2>
<p>The last thing I want to leave you with is the <strong>headline of your ad </strong>and <strong>headline of your landing page</strong> <strong><em>MUST</em> match</strong>.</p>
<p>Why? Well, without going into a lot of psychological mumbo jumbo, let&#39;s just say that if a person sees a subject that says &#8220;Natural Acne Cure&#8221; on your Adwords ad, click on it and then see &#8220;Natural Acne Cure&#8221; as the header of your landing page, they are going to think, and they do this in a split second, that they are in the right place and will most likely read what&#39;s there.</p>
<p>If they <strong>DON&#39;T match</strong>, they will most likely leave.</p>
<p>This one tip is the whole ball game. Remember it.</p>

<p>We&#39;re going to go over some Google Adwords ad writing strategies. It is one of the hardest mediums to write ads for. After all, there is only so much you can say in 3 little lines of 35 characters each.</p>
<h2>3 Parts of A Google Adwords Ad</h2>
<p>The best way to go over ad writing is to take your ad one line at a time. </p>
<p><strong>Headline</strong> &#45; It is meant to immediately capture the attention of the person who sees your ad. Let&#39;s say you&#39;re selling a book on curing acne naturally. You might use a headline like &#8220;Cure Acne Naturally.&#8221; Remember, you only have 35 characters, so make it short, to the point and powerful. You also want to make sure that your main keyword is in the headline.</p>
<p><strong>First Line</strong> &#45; Your first line has to be just as powerful as the headline. There is no room for fluff. You want the first line of your ad to be the most important benefit of your product. Let&#39;s say you have an acne cure that&#39;s natural and will cure acne in 3 days. The 3 days part is the main feature. So your first line might read &#8220;Cure Your Acne In 3 Days.&#8221; This is certain to get people&#39;s attention.</p>
<p><strong>Second Line</strong> &#45; Your second line has to reinforce the first line. In the case of the first line, you listed the most important benefit, that your acne will be cured in 3 days. In the second line, you would list the most important feature. In this case, it would be that it&#39;s a natural cure. So you would put something like &#8220;All Natural Cure Guaranteed&#8221;</p>
<p>So your <strong>whole 3 line ad</strong> would read as follows:</p>
<p>Cure Acne Naturally<br />
Cure Your Acne In 3 Days<br />
All Natural Cure Guaranteed</p>
<p>This should certainly get a prospect to your website. It&#39;s then up to your sales copy to sell them on the product. You&#39;re not going to do that in 3 lines, but you can get them excited enough to at least check out the site.</p>
<h2>Ad Writing for Google is an Art Form </h2>
<p>Lots of very good writers have trouble writing for Adwords because they are so used to long sales letters with lots of benefits, testimonials and bonuses. With Adwords, you have only 3 lines and 105 characters to get people to your site. Many a great writer has cracked under this kind of pressure.</p>
<p>As you use <strong>Google Adwords</strong>, you will begin to get a feel for writing ads. After a while, they will just come intuitively. You&#39;ll automatically start thinking headline, first line, second line without even batting an eyelash. At first it will be hard. Make no mistake about it. You may write ads that don&#39;t get any clicks at all.  Eventually, as you get better at Adwords ad writing, you will see your click through rate increase greatly. When that happens, your CPC will go down because Google will find your ads are more relevant. But that&#39;s for another article down the road.</p>

<p>Each letter of the word success stands for one of those secrets. We&#8217;ll take them one at a time.</p>
<p>S stands for Solo focus. This means that whatever you want to do with your life, your business or whatever, you MUST have a solo, or one focus. You can&#8217;t allow yourself to be distracted. You must identify your goal and go for it and not allow outside influences distract you. If you can&#8217;t get past this first thing it is going to be very hard to get anything to work efficiently for you.</p>
<p>U stands for Undying conviction, leadership and imagination. You must, at all costs, have total conviction for what you are doing. You must believe that what you want to do is not only possible but critical. You must be a leader who will fight to the death. You must develop imagination when dealing with problems because some things are not going to have cut and dried answers. You must learn to think outside the box. Again, you must do this totally and completely.</p>
<p>C stands for Crystal Clear Path. You must visualize the path in front of you. You must know exactly where you are headed. You may run into obstacles along the way but you cannot under any circumstances allow anything to throw you off your path.</p>
<p>C stands for Connection To The Heart. This is something nobody can teach you. What this means is this. You must LOVE what you are doing. It must be something that if you don&#8217;t do it you will literally stop living and breathing. This must be one of the most important things in your life. Use your brain to think. But use your heart to drive you.</p>
<p>E stands for Extraordinary Energy. This doesn&#8217;t mean that you have to be able to run a marathon. But you have to be enthused. You have to want to wake up in the morning and get to work. You can&#8217;t lay around watching the TV. You can&#8217;t make excuses that you&#8217;re too tired. Your energy level MUST be high because building a successful home business is very hard work. Without the proper energy, you don&#8217;t stand much of a chance to go the distance.</p>
<p>S stands for Skill Set. I&#8217;m not talking about if you can type or program computers. I&#8217;m talking about your people skills, your communication skills. You MUST be able to communicate with people. You must be able to get people to have confidence in YOUR ability to help make them successful, if you&#8217;re promoting a biz op. If it&#8217;s a health product, you must be able to communicate your sincerity and belief in the product. You must sound convincing with everything you say.</p>
<p>S stands for Stop At Nothing. The main point of this is not to allow negativity of others get to you. People are going to try to convince you that you&#8217;re wasting your time doing what you&#8217;re doing. Do you think the Wright Brothers didn&#8217;t have their share of people laughing at them? If they had listened to all those people who said that it couldn&#8217;t be done, that man would never fly, we&#8217;d still be taking trains from New York to LA. You must be absolutely determined that you WILL succeed and nothing that anybody says should be able to convince you otherwise.</p>
<p>There you have it. The 7 secrets of success. Notice I didn&#8217;t say anything about having to be smart or a great ad writer or any of the things you were probably thinking of. Everything in this list is ALL about attitude. If you have a totally positive attitude you&#8217;ll succeed. If you don&#8217;t, you won&#8217;t.</p>
